| A friend of mine purchased this brand new in 04 and just couldnt afford to keep it. I purschased it from him. After he got it and around 1000 miles he was in a low speed crash that did some plastic damage. He didnt ride it until this last year when he replaced some of the broken parts so he could ride it again. I purchsed it and went straight to the motorcycle shop to get 2 new tires. He has an extra set of aftermarket gears (not installed) for it which I have and will go with it if you want them. He had them on it before I got it and at 93 mph you were actually doing 65. It now has the stock gears back on it. It runs as it should with a barely broke in motor. It has an aftermarket (Zero Gravity) tinted windshield, Vortex mirror eliminators, and an engine cage. I do have the mirrors and the original windshield if a person wants them. If your not an experienced rider you dont want this bike. All the power comes on after 70 mph or so and the front end is trying to stand straight up. There are still a few broken plastics but I have checked and just a few hundred dollars will buy everything you need for it on e-bay. It is completely rideable as it is I need to add. Personally I wouldnt fix it, just ride it as it is. The tank is NOT scratched. Tires have about 10-12 miles on them. I would keep it myself but I already have an 08 Bandit.
